The supporters of Apolo SFC booed when Ticosis FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carlos Vasco didn't get a good kick on the ball.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Evert Forssberg stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute Arnoldo Basualdo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Clodoveo Toribio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 55th match minute, Ticosis FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carlos Vasco to maneuver through the defense. Ticosis FC's Carlos Vasco got his second yellow card of the match in the 60th minute. The referee ordered Carlos Vasco off the ground. After 61 played minutes Ticosis FC got a freekick which was hit by Carlos Vasco. Dionisio Sesuldo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Apolo SFC's Romeo Primeiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dionisio Sesuldo in the 80th minute of play. 83 minutes into the match, Apolo SFC's goal looked a bit too open when Paulo Lluques came free, but Romeo Primeiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Romeo Primeiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ahmet Drame in the 85th minute of the match. Evert Forssberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Romeo Primeiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ruben Etxepare's late challenge caught a Apolo SFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ruben Etxepare helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Ticosis FC getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Ruben Etxepare hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Ahmet Drame managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ticosis FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ahmet Drame was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Romeo Primeiro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Evert Forssberg might have been able to make a better finish in the 93rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Romeo Primeiro. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Evert Forssberg ran back to his position shaking his head.
