Spectators: 7230 (Terracing: 5424, Seating: 1663, VIP seats: 143) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Rene Bernebe kicked off to start the match. 4 minutes into the game, Dante Donzel was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. ALYTA's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Luján the free kick. After 4 played minutes ALYTA got a freekick which was hit by Dante Donzel. When Alejo Nikola fell near the penalty area in the 7th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Luján's protests and gave Alejo Nikola a yellow card for diving instead. In the 7th minute, Alejo Nikola hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Luján's Benito Bento in the 10th minute got a chance for a shot 10th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye ALYTA's goalie prevented a goal. If Lorenzo Heli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Rene Bernebe kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Humberto Hanni. That made the score 1-0 in the 16 minute of play. ALYTA's Ruben Toribio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alvaro Behe in the 20th minute of play. 23 minutes into the match, ALYTA's goal looked a bit too open when Alvaro Behe came free, but Ruben Toribio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 29 minutes of play, Luján's Benito Bento made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ruben Toribio was left in no man's land by his defense there! Luján's Humberto Hanni proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 35th minute of the match, managed to save Luján from getting a goal against them. After a defensive mix-up in ALYTA's zone, Benito Bento stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ruben Toribio came out of the goal and Benito Bento tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience was convinced that Benito Bento's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ruben Toribio was relentless in the 41st minute of the game. 43 minutes into the match, ALYTA's goal looked a bit too open when Alvaro Hermon came free, but Ruben Toribio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alvaro Hermon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dante Donzel succeeded in the game's 47th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Benito Bento made a kick off. Rene Bernebe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Humberto Hanni showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alejo Chaime in the 55th minute of the match. Ruben Toribio made a fantastic save in the 58th minute, when Alvaro Behe sent off a good shot on target. Ruben Toribio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benito Bento in the 62nd minute of play. Dante Donzel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Alvaro Behe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ruben Toribio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benito Bento, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. In the 69th minute, Alvaro Behe got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Marcial Confesor took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 72nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ruben Toribio. ALYTA's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The nice shot from Alvaro Behe in the 74thth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Ruben Toribio had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. In the 78th minute Dante Donzel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Humberto Hanni saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benito Bento in the 80th minute of play forced ALYTA's goalkeeper Ruben Toribio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 85 played minutes, Luján's Ariel Cloyo shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ruben Toribio came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Luján reached it. In the 86th minute, Luján's Benito Bento ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ruben Toribio. Ruben Toribio yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-2. Benito Bento fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ruben Toribio having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Anibal Rivas during the 91st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 94 minutes, Alvaro Behe mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Luján and the ALYTA players grew even worse after the yellow card. Luján's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
