After 9 played minutes, Lules's Eduardo Estebe shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Virgilio Gilen came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Lules reached it. Lules's Benedicto Cedro got a good chance for a goal in the 11th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 16 played minutes Lules got a freekick which was hit by Jacobo Urre. Leonides Acevedo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Horacio Milio in the 17th minute of the match. Leonides Acevedo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Horacio Milio, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Segundo Estebano during the 21st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 21st minute of the game. One of Gral. Belgrano B:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Lules:s goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Silvio Cordaryal in the 56th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Leonides Acevedo saved Lules from getting behind. After having played for 59 minutes, Benedicto Cedro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lules's supporters crossed their fingers, but Benedicto Cedro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Virgilio Gilen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benedicto Cedro in the 81st minute of the match. Horacio Milio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 83rd minute of the match, but Leonides Acevedo made a huge save. In the 85th minute, Denis Mingo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Lules's zone, Horacio Milio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Leonides Acevedo came out of the goal and Horacio Milio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Leonardo Haritz charged in rather forcefully in the 90th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Leonardo Haritz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 90 played minutes Gral. Belgrano B got a freekick which was hit by Leonardo Haritz. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cecilio Oinaz in the 92nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Virgilio Gilen prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 94 minutes, Silvio Cordaryal mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Gral. Belgrano B and the Lules players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 94th match minute, Gral. Belgrano B was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Silvio Cordaryal to maneuver through the defense. Virgilio Gilen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cecilio Oinaz, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute.
