Spectators: 7261 (Terracing: 5447, Seating: 1670, VIP seats: 144) Benedicto Cedro started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After a rather tough play, Lules's Maximino Pacifico got a free kick in the 3rd minute. 5 minutes into the match, Lules's goal looked a bit too open when Marcial Confesor came free, but Leonides Acevedo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 6 minutes into the game, Marcial Confesor was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Luján's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Lules the free kick. In the 6th minute, Marcial Confesor hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Marcial Confesor was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 8 minutes into the match. Eduardo Estebe might have been able to make a better finish in the 10th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Humberto Hanni. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Eduardo Estebe ran back to his position shaking his head. Humberto Hanni made a fantastic save in the 17th minute, when Cecilio Oinaz sent off a good shot on target. Arturo Vistruario hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, Alejo Nikola managed to get in a good position for a shot. Luján's supporters rose to their feet, but Alejo Nikola was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Leonides Acevedo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Lules's Blas Mergildo got a free kick in the 34th minute. Alvaro Hermon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leonides Acevedo having to interfere. Alvaro Behe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 39 minutes into the match, Luján's goalkeeper Humberto Hanni had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cecilio Oinaz. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The wind increased when Alvaro Hermon made the kick off in the second half. Alvaro Behe recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Lules's zone, Alvaro Hermon stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Leonides Acevedo came out of the goal and Alvaro Hermon tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jacobo Urre struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Humberto Hanni didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lules. Delmiro Lekubegi charged in rather forcefully in the 65th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Delmiro Lekubegi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 65th minute, Delmiro Lekubegi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 66 played minutes, Lules's Eduardo Estebe shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Humberto Hanni came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Lules reached it. Humberto Hanni came out of the goal in the 67th minute to try and stop a shot by Lules's Cecilio Oinaz. But to his dismay, Cecilio Oinaz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Alvaro Hermon struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. Leonides Acevedo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Luján. Damian Gilesindo made in the 73rd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Luján's Ariel Cloyo. Humberto Hanni made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Denis Mingo in the 79th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Lules's Eduardo Estebe got a free kick in the 83rd minute. The long shot by Alvaro Hermon in the 84th minute really tested Leonides Acevedo's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Alvaro Behe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Leonides Acevedo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 87th match minute, Luján was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ariel Cloyo to maneuver through the defense. Benedicto Cedro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Humberto Hanni having to interfere. In the 96th minute, Alvaro Behe got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Lules were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Luján for a fine match.
