Spectators: 7274 (Terracing: 5457, Seating: 1673, VIP seats: 144) Leon Fagondo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Baldomero Lastur's shot from short distance in the 3rd minute. 8 minutes had been played when some careless play by Ferrocarril FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Prudencio Guzman was slow to take the kick. During this time Ferro de mi Vida's players had a chance to rest. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Ferrocarril FC's goalie and right to Prospero Baumar. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Ferrocarril FC's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Hugo Sugoi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Guillermo Vincent having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Baldomero Lastur in the 17th minute of play forced Ferro de mi Vida's goalkeeper Leon Fagondo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ferrocarril FC's Marcos Sanchez got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Leon Fagondo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcos Sanchez, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Hugo Sugoi took the ball and in the 22 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Guillermo Vincent. Guillermo Vincent dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. 26 minutes into the match, Ferrocarril FC's goalkeeper Guillermo Vincent had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hugo Sugoi. Ferro de mi Vida's Leon Fagondo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Baldomero Lastur in the 29th minute of play. Marcos Sanchez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leon Fagondo having to interfere. After 32 played minutes Ferrocarril FC got a freekick which was hit by Marcos Sanchez. Hugo Sugoi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Guillermo Vincent read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 33rd minute of play. Baldomero Lastur received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Leon Fagondo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Marcos Sanchez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Ferro de mi Vida getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Roman Ponce hit a great ball. If Baldomero Lastur had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Baldomero Lastur made the kick off in the second half. Baldomero Lastur fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leon Fagondo having to interfere. In the 54th minute Miguel Rios shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Guillermo Vincent saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Leon Fagondo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Marcos Sanchez in the 56th minute. In the 57th minute, Ferrocarril FC's Baldomero Lastur ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Leon Fagondo. Leon Fagondo yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. Marcos Sanchez struck a weak shot in the 60th minute. Leon Fagondo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ferrocarril FC. Baldomero Lastur fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leon Fagondo having to interfere. In the 64th minute, Ferrocarril FC's Baldomero Lastur dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-2. In the 67th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ferro de mi Vida's goalkeeper Leon Fagondo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Baldomero Lastur came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the Ferrocarril FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Baldomero Lastur couldn't finish the play. If Baldomero Lastur had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a defensive mix-up in Ferro de mi Vida's zone, Baldomiro Etxeberri stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Leon Fagondo came out of the goal and Baldomiro Etxeberri tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Baldomero Lastur sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Leon Fagondo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Baldomero Lastur in the 82nd minute of play. In the 83rd minute Miguel Rios shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Guillermo Vincent saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Baldomero Lastur had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 88 minutes of play, Ferrocarril FC's Marcos Sanchez made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Leon Fagondo was left in no man's land by his defense there! 91 minutes into the match, Ferro de mi Vida's Miguel Rios sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Guillermo Vincent narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Ferro de mi Vida's Miguel Rios in the 93rd minute got a chance for a shot 93rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ferrocarril FC's goalie prevented a goal. Ferrocarril FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
