The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Salvador Calisto during the 2nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 2nd match minute, CASLA FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Salvador Calisto to maneuver through the defense. CASLA FC's Gaudencio Osmundo got a good chance for a goal in the 7th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Hugo Sugoi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Modesto Otoniel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Anier Ruisko sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a rather tough play, CASLA FC's Gaudencio Osmundo got a free kick in the 17th minute. CASLA FC's Modesto Otoniel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 19th minute of the match, managed to save CASLA FC from getting a goal against them. A collision led to Ferro de mi Vida getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Gualterio Gelmiro hit a great ball. In the 28th minute of the match Cirilo Sergi sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Leon Fagondo skillfully saved the ball. Gaudencio Osmundo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 38 minutes into the game, Hugo Sugoi cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Modesto Otoniel was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Gaudencio Osmundo scored 1-1 in the 44th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Leon Fagondo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Miguel Rios was the one to do the kick off. Leon Fagondo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gaudencio Osmundo in the 55th minute. Miguel Rios sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Clemente Ritchie lost his temper 66 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 65th minute of the game. One of Ferro de mi Vida:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of CASLA FC:s goal. In the 74th minute, Wilfredo Loren hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Anier Ruisko received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Leon Fagondo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ferro de mi Vida's Leon Fagondo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 77th minute of the match, managed to save Ferro de mi Vida from getting a goal against them.
