Los Muchachos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gavino Benvide was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Artemio Loreto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gavino Benvide in the 10th minute of play. Artemio Loreto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Siro Rocio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gilberto Rencio made a fantastic save in the 17th minute, when Elias Efren sent off a good shot on target. When C. S y D. Los Muchachos's Gavino Benvide in the 24th minute got a chance for a shot 24th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 42nd minute, Jonatan Saturnin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The attack was good, but when Carlos Kelemen in the 47th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Gavino Benvide sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gilberto Rencio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carlos Kelemen, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. In the 69th minute, Siro Rocio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gavino Benvide in the 71st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Artemio Loreto saved Defensores Fsa Unidos from getting behind. Artemio Loreto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gavino Benvide in the 72nd minute of the match. A collision led to Defensores Fsa Unidos getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Victor Dino hit a great ball. After 75 played minutes Defensores Fsa Unidos got a freekick which was hit by Victor Dino. Gavino Benvide struck a weak shot in the 78th minute. Artemio Loreto didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for C. S y D. Los Muchachos. If Siro Rocio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 85th minute, Carlos Kelemen got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Defensores Fsa Unidos's Carlos Kelemen in the 90th minute got a chance for a shot 90th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye C. S y D. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing C. S y D. Los Muchachos would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
