The supporters of Defensores Fsa Unidos booed when Sanabria was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ciriaco Estebe didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Elias Efren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Artemio Loreto, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. If Carlos Kelemen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Sanabria's Ciriaco Estebe got a free kick in the 41st minute. Carlos Kelemen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After the first half Defensores Fsa Unidos were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Efrain Caetano made a kick off. Elias Efren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jeremias Galsino having to interfere. Pastor Gora sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 72nd minute, Pastor Gora got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee felt a red card was in order, 76 minutes into the game, when Adolfo Federigo put in a rough tackle. In a very dangerous position, a player in Defensores Fsa Unidos fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 75th minute. Penalty! The referee gave Sanabria a penalty, 78 minutes into the game. Elias Efren might have been able to make a better finish in the 88th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jeremias Galsino. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Elias Efren ran back to his position shaking his head. After 94 minutes, Guaberto Bazkoare mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Defensores Fsa Unidos and the Sanabria players grew even worse after the yellow card.
