The referee ignored Team Roughnecks's protests and gave Gustavo Cesaro a yellow card for diving instead. 6 minutes into the match, Team Roughnecks's goal looked a bit too open when Yuriy Kremenchutskyi came free, but Bartolo Lastur reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Yuriy Kremenchutskyi in the 8th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bartolo Lastur saved Team Roughnecks from getting behind. Higinio Oso charged in rather forcefully in the 9th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Higinio Oso the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 9th minute, Higinio Oso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Gennadiy Makarskiy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Team Roughnecks's Bartolo Lastur played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yuriy Kremenchutskyi in the 18th minute of play. After having played for 21 minutes, Yuriy Kremenchutskyi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Miramonte FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Yuriy Kremenchutskyi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 23 minutes into the game, Miramonte FC's Yuriy Kremenchutskyi nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Bartolo Lastur made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. After 26 played minutes Miramonte FC got a freekick which was hit by Higinio Oso. Joonas Puro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bartolo Lastur having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Miramonte FC's Higinio Oso got a free kick in the 33rd minute. In the 37th match minute, Miramonte FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Higinio Oso to maneuver through the defense. Gogo Gaskon made a fantastic save in the 45th minute, when Camilo Pirmin sent off a good shot on target. After 47 minutes of play, Team Roughnecks's Camilo Pirmin made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gogo Gaskon was left in no man's land by his defense there! Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Yuriy Kremenchutskyi stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 56th match minute, Miramonte FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Higinio Oso to maneuver through the defense. Hugo Hartz took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 57th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Gogo Gaskon. Miramonte FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Bartolo Lastur was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Gennadiy Makarskiy showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-3 in the 59 minute of play. Bartolo Lastur made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gennadiy Makarskiy in the 65th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 67th minute, Gennadiy Makarskiy managed to get in a good position for a shot. Miramonte FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Gennadiy Makarskiy was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bartolo Lastur breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Dalmacio Valery's late challenge caught a Team Roughnecks's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dalmacio Valery helped the player get up and apologised. Gogo Gaskon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hugo Hartz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cesar Tabb in the 95th minute of play forced Miramonte FC's goalkeeper Gogo Gaskon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 96th minute, Yuriy Kremenchutskyi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
