Bernardo Rito kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. If Octavio Gabon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 8th minute of the match Erubiel Furtado shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Prudencio Dino showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Maximiliano Astigar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aquiles Farias in the 14th minute of play. Prudencio Dino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Godofredo Maldonado in the 22nd minute of the match. Aquiles Farias scored 1-0 in the 23rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Maximiliano Astigar, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 27 minutes into the match, Apolo Demesio had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Maximiliano Astigar. Palma FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Apolo Demesio was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. If Apolo Demesio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Aquiles Farias sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Maximiliano Astigar didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Aquiles Farias went, in the 42nd minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. 48 minutes into the match, Apolo Demesio notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Palma FC's Maximiliano Astigar. Maximiliano Astigar was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Octavio Gabon made the kick off in the second half. Prudencio Dino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Octavio Gabon in the 54th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aquiles Farias in the 59th minute of play forced Palma FC's goalkeeper Maximiliano Astigar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 62 minutes Palma FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Valentin Euloxu who took care of the corner kick. After 69 played minutes Club Atlético Platense got a freekick which was hit by Manuel Monico. With a little luck, Club Atlético Platense's Prudencio Dino got control of the ball when Epifanio Louis tried to sneak it across the goal line. Octavio Gabon recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aquiles Farias in the 75th minute of play forced Palma FC's goalkeeper Maximiliano Astigar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Club Atlético Platense getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Bernardino Mosen hit a great ball. In the 81st minute, Apolo Demesio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Apolo Demesio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Maximiliano Astigar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Maximiliano Astigar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aquiles Farias in the 87th minute of play. In the 89th minute Octavio Gabon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Prudencio Dino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Club Atlético Platense's Prudencio Dino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Epifanio Louis in the 95th minute of play. For all the effort they put into the match, the Palma FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Club Atlético Platense.
