Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gustavo Pelayo to make the kick off. Fabricio Dabi took the ball and in the 93 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Primitivo Cefero. Primitivo Cefero dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. In the 96th match minute, Tilcara AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nicolas Sarracino to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gustavo Pelayo in the 99th minute of play forced Tilcara AFC's goalkeeper Urbano Estevez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Urbano Estevez was a little too slow when Epifanio Tallia got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 101st minute. The score was now 3-1. Tilcara AFC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
