The audience thought a goal was coming when Epifanio Tallia got free with Rolando Gines in the 7th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 7th minute, Armando Artaldo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gustavo Pelayo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 11 minutes, Gustavo Pelayo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. TONGA BOYS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gustavo Pelayo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gustavo Pelayo was the one to do the kick off. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. TONGA BOYS had won after a very even match.
