Cornetti fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Baltasar Martxot should have stopped the shot. Thanks to some nice moves Marciano Cerilo could shoot a difficult shot in the 15th minute, which Baltasar Martxot however easily saved by the left post. When Associazione S. Cornetti's Aristides Esiquio in the 17th minute got a chance for a shot 17th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Atletico Lamadrid's goalie prevented a goal. Modesto Bixintxo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 20 minutes, Modesto Bixintxo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Associazione S. Cornetti and the Atletico Lamadrid players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Associazione S. Cornetti getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Modesto Bixintxo hit a great ball. Aquiles Stanislao made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eduardo Manni in the 26th minute of play. In the 34th minute, Eduardo Manni ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Aquiles Stanislao was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. Aristides Esiquio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aquiles Stanislao having to interfere. In the 40th minute Eduardo Manni shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aquiles Stanislao saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aristides Esiquio struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. Aquiles Stanislao didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Associazione S. Cornetti. After having played for 43 minutes, Modesto Bixintxo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Associazione S. Cornetti's supporters crossed their fingers, but Modesto Bixintxo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 47 played minutes, Associazione S. Cornetti's Cristo Perez shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Aquiles Stanislao came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Associazione S. Cornetti reached it. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jimeno Igon stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. It was a penalty for Atletico Lamadrid! Aquiles Stanislao showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aristides Esiquio, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. Associazione S. Cornetti's Aristides Esiquio got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Aquiles Stanislao stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Eduardo Manni's shot from short distance in the 96th minute. In the 98th minute the ball was on its way in behind Atletico Lamadrid's goalkeeper Aquiles Stanislao, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.
