Amancio Bermudo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Conrado Eguerdi having to interfere. Norberto Vergaray's shot from long distance was a real pearl which went to the right and just passed Conrado Eguerdi - 0-1 was put on the score board in the 6th minute. 9 minutes into the match, Club AyD Roma's goal looked a bit too open when Victoriano Pacorro came free, but Conrado Eguerdi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpected shot in the 14th minute by Jacinto Oriche got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. If Victoriano Pacorro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Amancio Bermudo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Conrado Eguerdi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Conrado Eguerdi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Amancio Bermudo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lisandro Soter's late challenge caught a Club AyD Roma's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lisandro Soter helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Club AyD Roma booed when Club Italiano was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lisandro Soter didn't get a good kick on the ball. 32 minutes into the match, Esteban Kismi dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Fermin Rudolfo, 1-1. If Jacinto Oriche had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Amancio Bermudo made a kick off. Baldomiro Quentin tried in the game's 51st match minute to clear up in front of his own goal but it went so bad that he put the ball into the goal to the left of an unhappy Conrado Eguerdi. An annoying self made goal, 1-2. Fermin Rudolfo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Esteban Kismi's shot from short distance in the 56th minute. Jacinto Oriche fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fermin Rudolfo having to interfere. In the 61st match minute, Club Italiano was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Israel Frances to maneuver through the defense. When Club AyD Roma's Esteban Kismi in the 64th minute got a chance for a shot 64th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. With a left leg Fermin Rudolfo saved Club Italiano from getting behind. In the 76th minute, Club Italiano's Victoriano Pacorro ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Conrado Eguerdi. Conrado Eguerdi yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-3. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alejo Tono during the 80th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Club Italiano booed when Club AyD Roma was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alejo Tono didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jacinto Oriche recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 95th minute, Amancio Bermudo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 96 played minutes, Club AyD Roma's Rodolfo Sancho shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Fermin Rudolfo came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Club AyD Roma reached it. The Club Italiano supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Club Italiano would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
