Carrenleufú FC's Teo Laurendi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jesus Transito in the 15th minute of play. Gualterio Hermelando fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nestor Quirze having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jesus Transito in the 24th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Teo Laurendi saved Carrenleufú FC from getting behind. After a defensive mix-up in Catenaccio F.C.'s zone, Gualterio Hermelando stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nestor Quirze came out of the goal and Gualterio Hermelando tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Carrenleufú FC's Conrado Bonifaco got a free kick in the 36th minute. Jesus Transito received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Teo Laurendi came out and tried to block the shot, but Jesus Transito slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 37th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jesus Transito was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, Carrenleufú FC's Esteban Goi got a free kick in the 54th minute. If Orlando Quintun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Jesus Transito came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the Catenaccio F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jesus Transito couldn't finish the play. 67 minutes into the game, Romeo Egoitz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Carrenleufú FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Catenaccio F.C. the free kick. Nestor Quirze didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 73rd minute, which inside left pole to 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ermegildo Fliz in the 77th minute of play forced Catenaccio F.C.'s goalkeeper Nestor Quirze to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Orlando Quintun in the 79th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Teo Laurendi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Teo Laurendi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Orlando Quintun, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Eulalio Quintyn fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nestor Quirze having to interfere. In the 92nd minute of the match Moises Medardo sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Nestor Quirze skillfully saved the ball. Carrenleufú FC were awarded a corner in the 96th minute after Catenaccio F.C.'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Moises Medardo took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Moises Medardo got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Nestor Quirze quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
