Spectators: 7194 (Terracing: 5397, Seating: 1654, VIP seats: 143) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Arnoldo Romo kicked off to start the match. Tránsito AFC's Rosendo Ibañez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Niceto Peio in the 3rd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Tránsito AFC's Erubiel Hernando got a free kick in the 4th minute. A collision led to Tránsito AFC getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Fabricio Ugaitz hit a great ball. Rosendo Ibañez didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Silvano Orkatz went, in the 6th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. After 9 minutes, Ulises Esquipula mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tránsito AFC and the Gessler players grew even worse after the yellow card. Ulises Esquipula hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. When Silvano Orkatz came up free with the goalie in the 10th minute, the Gessler fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Silvano Orkatz couldn't finish the play. Ascencio Viego made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Blas Serapio in the 14th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Julio Liher during the 14th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 15th minute, Julio Liher hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ulises Esquipula was shown his second yellow card after 16 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After a rather tough play, Tránsito AFC's Ulises Esquipula got a free kick in the 17th minute. Gavino Mano's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 21stth minute, Ascencio Viego skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Niceto Peio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Silvano Orkatz in the 29th minute of play forced Tránsito AFC's goalkeeper Rosendo Ibañez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Niceto Peio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 39th minute Niceto Peio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rosendo Ibañez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Blas Serapio charged in rather forcefully in the 40th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Blas Serapio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Gessler booed when Tránsito AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Blas Serapio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rosendo Ibañez came out of the goal in the 43rd minute to try and stop a shot by Gessler's Niceto Peio. But to his dismay, Niceto Peio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. 47 minutes into the match, Erubiel Hernando dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Ascencio Viego, 1-2.

After having played for 72 minutes, Niceto Peio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gessler's supporters crossed their fingers, but Niceto Peio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Niceto Peio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eusebio Abajas hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Tránsito AFC's Rosendo Ibañez got control of the ball when Niceto Peio tried to sneak it across the goal line. Cesar Irrintzi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Rosendo Ibañez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 89th minute, Niceto Peio made a precise shot to the right of Rosendo Ibañez. Tránsito AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. Pablo Bieito received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Rosendo Ibañez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Tránsito AFC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Gessler were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
