In the 12th minute Flavio Montel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luisito Mateo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Almafuerte FC getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Braulio Aritza hit a great ball. Jimeno Aznaro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Denis Cefero, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Pico y Pala booed when Almafuerte FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Timoteo Baladi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Braulio Aritza hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. After 27 played minutes Almafuerte FC got a freekick which was hit by Braulio Aritza. Jimeno Aznaro was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 28th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Baltasar Omero. After 29 played minutes Almafuerte FC got a freekick which was hit by Sergio Tonete. Flavio Montel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Denis Cefero recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 47th minute, Haroldo Senin ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jimeno Aznaro was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Denis Cefero to strike the kick off in the second half. Everardo Oso received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Luisito Mateo came out and tried to block the shot, but Everardo Oso slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 55th minute. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 59th minute of the game. One of Almafuerte FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Pico y Pala:s goal. In the 61st minute there was a penalty for Pico y Pala. Baltasar Omero stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Jimeno Aznaro. 2-1. Haroldo Senin succeeded in the game's 65th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 3-1. Delmar Dodorol lost his temper 69 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 69th minute of the game. Pico y Pala's Denis Cefero got a good chance for a goal in the 75th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 80th minute, Denis Cefero got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Denis Cefero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jimeno Aznaro having to interfere. Jimeno Aznaro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Denis Cefero, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jimeno Aznaro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Denis Cefero in the 90th minute of play. If Denis Cefero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Haroldo Senin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jimeno Aznaro having to interfere. After having played for 99 minutes, Flavio Montel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Almafuerte FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Flavio Montel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Braulio Aritza hit a great freekick 101 minutes into the match. There was no doubt that Pico y Pala were the better team. Pico y Pala's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
