In the 2nd minute, Fidel Frisco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 4 minutes, Leopoldo Refugio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Hell Fire Club and the Acosta AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. If Arnaldo Millan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Filiberto Serafo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arnaldo Millan in the 19th minute of play. In the 24th minute the ball was on its way in behind Acosta AFC's goalkeeper Florencio Hotz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jacobo Inko in the 26th minute of play forced Hell Fire Club's goalkeeper Filiberto Serafo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hell Fire Club's Filiberto Serafo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jacobo Inko in the 29th minute of play. After having played for 33 minutes, Leopoldo Refugio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hell Fire Club's supporters crossed their fingers, but Leopoldo Refugio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jacobo Inko in the 36th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Filiberto Serafo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpected shot in the 38th minute by Leopoldo Refugio got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Herminio Enol kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Hell Fire Club's zone, Jacobo Inko stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Filiberto Serafo came out of the goal and Jacobo Inko tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

With a couple of smart ball manuevers Leopoldo Refugio in the 62nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Florencio Hotz saved Acosta AFC from getting behind. In the 63rd match minute, Acosta AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Patricio Firme to maneuver through the defense. Acosta AFC's Florencio Hotz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hernan Isauro in the 66th minute of play. If Arnaldo Millan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Filiberto Serafo had great luck who in the 88thth minute grab hold of the ball when Jacobo Inko from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. Jacobo Inko recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 91st match minute, Hell Fire Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Clemente Shepherd to maneuver through the defense. Through an outstanding action, after 99 minutes, Filiberto Serafo successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After 101 minutes Hell Fire Club's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Tobias Godoy who took care of the corner kick. Acosta AFC's Astor Maria was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Filiberto Serafo in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Despite being the better team, Acosta AFC failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
