Flavio Ellande might have been able to make a better finish in the 19th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jimeno Aznaro. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Flavio Ellande ran back to his position shaking his head. Jimeno Aznaro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gerardo Joey in the 22nd minute of play. With his leg Romulo Urtungo managed to avoid a goal in the 25thth minute, when Almafuerte FC's Flavio Montel fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. When Everardo Oso came up free with the goalie in the 30th minute, the Almafuerte FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Everardo Oso couldn't finish the play. In the 33rd minute the ball was on its way in behind La nueva 12's goalkeeper Romulo Urtungo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 35th minute, Gerardo Joey ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jimeno Aznaro was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. If Flavio Ellande had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 42 played minutes Everardo Oso rounded La nueva 12's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-1. 47 minutes into the match, Almafuerte FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gerardo Joey came free, but Jimeno Aznaro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 48 minutes into the match, Gerardo Joey notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Almafuerte FC's Jimeno Aznaro. Jimeno Aznaro was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Flavio Ellande made the kick off in the second half. In the 93rd minute, Flavio Montel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Flavio Ellande in the 98th minute of play forced Almafuerte FC's goalkeeper Jimeno Aznaro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. La nueva 12 had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
