If Feliberto Diaz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Hell Fire Club's zone, Leo Abeita stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Filiberto Serafo came out of the goal and Leo Abeita tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Filiberto Serafo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Feliberto Diaz in the 14th minute of the match. If Leopoldo Refugio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 19 minutes of play, Hell Fire Club's Hernan Isauro made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alberto Nuxila was left in no man's land by his defense there! La Piedra's defense didn't have a chance, in the 28th minute, when Leopoldo Refugio scored to the left of an out of position Alberto Nuxila, making the score, 2-0. Filiberto Serafo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leo Abeita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Feliberto Diaz struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Filiberto Serafo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for La Piedra. In the 43rd minute Santiago Che shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Filiberto Serafo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alberto Nuxila showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leopoldo Refugio in the 48th minute of the match. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Leo Abeita was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Feliberto Diaz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Leopoldo Refugio scored 3-0 in the 53rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Alberto Nuxila, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 58 minutes into the match, La Piedra's goal looked a bit too open when Hernan Isauro came free, but Alberto Nuxila reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hell Fire Club's supporters rose to their feet, but Guaberto Domingues was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alberto Nuxila breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Leo Abeita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. For all the effort they put into the match, the La Piedra players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Hell Fire Club.
