Penalty! 1-1 came in the 29th minute when Teo Valiente all by himself managed to get straight through the defense and place the ball into the net to the right of Gerardo Eudoxio. Gregorio Aresti fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gerardo Eudoxio having to interfere. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ivan Esdras made a kick off. After having played for 54 minutes, Ivan Esdras managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Explosivos FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ivan Esdras was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of CLUB SANTA ROSA booed when Explosivos FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eliseo Thomas didn't get a good kick on the ball.
