After having played for 20 minutes, Eliseo Thomas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Explosivos FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eliseo Thomas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Toreros y Titanes FC's zone, Benjamin Todor stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dalmacio Rexino came out of the goal and Benjamin Todor tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Romeo Maurin's late challenge caught a Explosivos FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Romeo Maurin helped the player get up and apologised. Toreros y Titanes FC's Dalmacio Rexino proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 29th minute of the match, managed to save Toreros y Titanes FC from getting a goal against them. A collision led to Explosivos FC getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Benjamin Ponce hit a great ball. Daniel Turi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but Dalmacio Rexino made a huge save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Daniel Turi in the 41st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dalmacio Rexino prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Dalmacio Rexino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Turi in the 46th minute of play. Jimeno Rodas's late challenge caught a Explosivos FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jimeno Rodas helped the player get up and apologised. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Daniel Turi made the kick off in the second half. Daniel Turi blasted a shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dalmacio Rexino having to make a save. After 56 played minutes Toreros y Titanes FC got a freekick which was hit by Felipe Quinten. When Daniel Turi came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the Explosivos FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Daniel Turi couldn't finish the play. Toreros y Titanes FC's Dalmacio Rexino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Turi in the 58th minute of play. Romeo Maurin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gerardo Eudoxio having to interfere. In the 75thth minute of the game Daniel Turi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Toreros y Titanes FC's Dalmacio Rexino was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Benjamin Todor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dalmacio Rexino having to interfere. Dalmacio Rexino took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ivan Esdras, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Explosivos FC's attentive Eliseo Thomas managed to snatch the ball when Anselmo Ondino made a throw-in in the 86th minute of the game. In the 95th minute Felipe Mikelar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gerardo Eudoxio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
