In the 16th minute, Angel Crispo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gerardo Eudoxio was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. When Daniel Turi came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the Explosivos FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Daniel Turi couldn't finish the play. Barrilete Cósmico's Raul Fanuco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Turi in the 27th minute of play. After 28 minutes, Anibal Olo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Barrilete Cósmico and the Explosivos FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Barrilete Cósmico getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Anibal Olo hit a great ball. Explosivos FC's Gerardo Eudoxio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ildefonso Polentzi in the 30th minute of play. Ivan Esdras's late challenge caught a Barrilete Cósmico's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ivan Esdras helped the player get up and apologised. In the 31st minute, Ivan Esdras hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gerardo Eudoxio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Clodoveo Firmin in the 32nd minute of play. After 45 played minutes Barrilete Cósmico got a freekick which was hit by Anibal Olo. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Angel Crispo was the one to do the kick off. Angel Crispo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Daniel Turi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Daniel Turi spun around in front of the goal 65 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Barrilete Cósmico's goal. In the 78th match minute, Explosivos FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gaspar Tebaldo to maneuver through the defense. In the 82nd minute, Daniel Turi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Clodoveo Firmin did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-2 to the left of a surprised Gerardo Eudoxio 87 minutes into the match.
