Modesto Furtado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Elpidio Loiola, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 14 minutes into the match, Arraga FC's goal looked a bit too open when Elpidio Loiola came free, but Modesto Furtado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Carmelo Urtun took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 20th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Modesto Furtado. Arraga FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Ariel Jusepe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Modesto Furtado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With an all-out effort, Papin's Modesto Furtado threw himself towards the right post 40 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Armando Eriz, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Tomas Inguma showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Augusto Dantae in the 43rd minute of the match. After 47 minutes, Armando Eriz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Papin and the Arraga FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Armando Eriz kicked well hit freekick during the 48th minute of the match.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Augusto Dantae to strike the kick off in the second half. Papin's Ariel Jusepe got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Augusto Dantae couldn't finish the play. After some careless play in the Arraga FC defense, Elpidio Loiola kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Modesto Furtado. The Arraga FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Modesto Furtado should have stopped the shot. Augusto Dantae received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Tomas Inguma tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 77th minute, Rene Elorri had to be helped off the field due to a pulled leg muscle. Diego Nafarroa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tiburcio Eneto, 79 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Ariel Jusepe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Modesto Furtado didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Papin. Augusto Dantae kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. Elpidio Loiola took the ball and in the 89 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Modesto Furtado. Modesto Furtado dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. For all the effort they put into the match, the Arraga FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Papin.
