Virgilio Bidari showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alfonso Ascencio, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. Virgilio Bidari took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alfonso Ascencio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alfonso Ascencio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Virgilio Bidari having to interfere. When Eduardo Dubardo came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the T-Rex fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eduardo Dubardo couldn't finish the play. Ernesto Dalmau made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elpidio Natal in the 33rd minute of play. Alfonso Ascencio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Virgilio Bidari having to interfere. 38 minutes into the match, Garupá FC's goal looked a bit too open when Alfonso Ascencio came free, but Virgilio Bidari reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Victorio Bernabel kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. In the 44th minute Angelo Beat shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Virgilio Bidari saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Garupá FC's Serafino Ipar pulled a muscle in his leg after 46 minutes and couldn't finish the game. When Angelo Beat fell near the penalty area in the 46th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored T-Rex's protests and gave Angelo Beat a yellow card for diving instead. After 47 played minutes T-Rex got a freekick which was hit by Angelo Beat. Justo Frisco didn't quite understand what happened when in the 48 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet.

In the 55th minute of the match Garupá FC got a corner. T-Rex's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Celso Franco ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Celso Franco got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Ernesto Dalmau quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Ernesto Dalmau made an important save on a dangerous shot by Domingos Loren in the 56th minute. T-Rex's Ernesto Dalmau proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 58th minute of the match, managed to save T-Rex from getting a goal against them. After some fancy dribbling in the 62nd minute, Domingos Loren managed to get in a good position for a shot. Garupá FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Domingos Loren was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ernesto Dalmau breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 64th minute, Serafin Frederico made a precise shot to the right of Virgilio Bidari. Garupá FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. In the 72nd minute, Serafin Frederico made a precise shot to the right of Virgilio Bidari. Garupá FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Domingos Loren was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Serafin Frederico had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in T-Rex's zone, Domingos Loren stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ernesto Dalmau came out of the goal and Domingos Loren tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 93 minutes into the match, Garupá FC's goal looked a bit too open when Alfonso Ascencio came free, but Virgilio Bidari reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Garupá FC's Virgilio Bidari played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Serafin Frederico in the 98th minute of play. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The T-Rex fans cheered their team off the field, for while Garupá FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
