When Eduardo Lia fell near the penalty area in the 20th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Oasis's protests and gave Eduardo Lia a yellow card for diving instead. When German Otoniel fell near the penalty area in the 24th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Justino Cuartio in the 33rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Paolo Baraquiel prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 35th minute of the match La Perla De Entre Rios got a corner. Oasis's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Nestor Guillelmus ran over to the corner to take the kick. The goalkeeper smacked the ball away after a great corner, but German Otoniel advanced and headed the ball into goal, 2-0 in the 35th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Casimiro Phelipe in the 40th minute of play forced Oasis's goalkeeper Paolo Baraquiel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Paolo Baraquiel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Casimiro Phelipe in the 42nd minute of play. Eduardo Lia was shown his second yellow card after 42 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match.
