Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Ubaldo Mingo took the kick off in the first half of the match. Benigno Herensuge's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Aldo Ritchie read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 5th minute of play. Ubaldo Mingo might have been able to make a better finish in the 7th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Aldo Ritchie. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ubaldo Mingo ran back to his position shaking his head. Aldo Ritchie made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benigno Herensuge in the 12th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Loventué AFC's zone, Benigno Herensuge stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aldo Ritchie came out of the goal and Benigno Herensuge tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Aldo Ritchie made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Omar Nerio in the 19th minute of play. Loventué AFC's Prudencio Santos got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 32nd minute Omar Nerio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aldo Ritchie saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 33 minutes, Prudencio Santos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Loventué AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Prudencio Santos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Prudencio Santos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lorenzo Baumer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mariano Adrio having to interfere. After a rather tough play, C.A. Independiente's Omar Nerio got a free kick in the 41st minute. 43 minutes into the match, Prudencio Santos dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Mariano Adrio, 1-0. Ubaldo Mingo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Prudencio Santos stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 56 minutes of play, Loventué AFC's Prudencio Santos made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mariano Adrio was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 60th minute, Prudencio Santos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 62nd minute, Benigno Herensuge got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 65 minutes into the match, C.A. Independiente's goal looked a bit too open when Lorenzo Baumer came free, but Mariano Adrio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ubaldo Mingo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ubaldo Mingo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aldo Ritchie having to interfere. 72 minutes into the match, C.A. Independiente's goal looked a bit too open when Prudencio Santos came free, but Mariano Adrio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Prudencio Santos came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the Loventué AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Prudencio Santos couldn't finish the play. In the 78th minute Ubaldo Mingo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aldo Ritchie saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Prudencio Santos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mariano Adrio having to interfere. Prudencio Santos blasted a shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Mariano Adrio having to make a save. Loventué AFC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Ubaldo Mingo 93 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-1. Loventué AFC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
