Emilio Gilen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from German Otoniel, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Nicanor Osasun might have been able to make a better finish in the 22nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sebastian Abeita. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Nicanor Osasun ran back to his position shaking his head. After 30 played minutes Junín got a freekick which was hit by Serafino Ibar. Sebastian Abeita showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carmelo Sein in the 33rd minute of the match. Junín's Carmelo Sein got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Carmelo Sein fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sebastian Abeita having to interfere. Justino Cuartio received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Emilio Gilen came out and tried to block the shot, but Justino Cuartio slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 40th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Carmelo Sein managed to get in a good position for a shot. Junín's supporters rose to their feet, but Carmelo Sein was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sebastian Abeita breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Junín's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nicanor Osasun was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Severiano Eliu fell near the penalty area in the 61st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored La Perla De Entre Rios's protests and gave Severiano Eliu a yellow card for diving instead. After 62 played minutes La Perla De Entre Rios got a freekick which was hit by Severiano Eliu. Saverio Jaen charged in rather forcefully in the 65th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down.
