German Nalo's late challenge caught a C.A. Independiente's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. German Nalo helped the player get up and apologised. In the 22ndth minute of the game Gaston Emenon who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but C.A. Independiente's Mariano Adrio was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Fabricio Poz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rivadeo FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Fabricio Poz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mariano Adrio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of C.A. Independiente booed when Rivadeo FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. German Nalo didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 34th minute Fabricio Poz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mariano Adrio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 38th minute of the match Ramiro Elivareo sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Narciso Marquez skillfully saved the ball. Gaston Emenon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mariano Adrio having to interfere. C.A. Independiente's Mariano Adrio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fabricio Poz in the 41st minute of play. After 44 minutes of play, Rivadeo FC's Fabricio Poz made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mariano Adrio was left in no man's land by his defense there! Gaston Emenon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 49th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ubaldo Mingo was the one to do the kick off. Narciso Marquez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ubaldo Mingo, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. If Benigno Herensuge had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Narciso Marquez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ubaldo Mingo in the 59th minute of the match. Narciso Marquez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ubaldo Mingo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 68th match minute, Rivadeo FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by German Nalo to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Rivadeo FC's zone, Ubaldo Mingo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Narciso Marquez came out of the goal and Ubaldo Mingo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gaston Emenon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mariano Adrio having to interfere. If Benigno Herensuge had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mariano Adrio didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Rivadeo FC's Gaston Emenon shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 1-2 in the ordered_time% minute. Fabricio Poz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mariano Adrio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 90th minute of play. Fabricio Poz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 97th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The C.A. Independiente fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Rivadeo FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
