Carmelo Sein fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rigoberto Paez having to interfere. When the match clock showed 16 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Carmelo Sein sped through FIDALGO FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Rigoberto Paez. Nicanor Osasun took the ball and in the 22 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rigoberto Paez. Rigoberto Paez dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carmelo Sein in the 28th minute of play forced FIDALGO FC's goalkeeper Rigoberto Paez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nicanor Osasun received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Rigoberto Paez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Carmelo Sein recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Nicanor Osasun sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Carmelo Sein had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 43 minutes of play, Junín's Nicanor Osasun made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rigoberto Paez was left in no man's land by his defense there! After the first half Junín were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Zacarias Eguen was the one to do the kick off. The supporters of Junín booed when FIDALGO FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jaime Oliveiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rigoberto Paez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carmelo Sein in the 58th minute of play. Carmelo Sein was extremely unlucky when he, in the 60th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. In the 62nd minute Carmelo Sein shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rigoberto Paez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Carmelo Sein had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 74th match minute, Junín was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carolo Mikelats to maneuver through the defense. In the 78th minute the ball was on its way in behind FIDALGO FC's goalkeeper Rigoberto Paez, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 83 minutes into the match, FIDALGO FC's goalkeeper Rigoberto Paez had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nicanor Osasun. When the match had gone on for 85 minutes, Nicanor Osasun took a quick shot and it went in 0-4 without a chance for Rigoberto Paez to make any attempt to save it. If Carmelo Sein had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Nicanor Osasun sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
