Leonardo Roano received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Mariano Adrio came out and tried to block the shot, but Leonardo Roano slotted it home off the left post making it 0-1 in the 68th minute. Benigno Herensuge scored 1-1 in the 78th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Timoteo Jacob, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Bernabe Claude fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mariano Adrio having to interfere. 88 minutes into the match, Benigno Herensuge notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Triperos Futbol Club's Timoteo Jacob. Timoteo Jacob was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. C.A. Independiente had won after a very even match.
