An unexpectedly hard shot by Leonardo Roano in the 39th minute of play forced Loventué AFC's goalkeeper Aldo Ritchie to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 40 minutes into the game, Leonardo Jusepe was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Loventué AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Triperos Futbol Club the free kick. After a rather tough play, Loventué AFC's Leonardo Jusepe got a free kick in the 40th minute. Bernabe Claude received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Aldo Ritchie tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Aldo Ritchie showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leonardo Roano, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Prudencio Santos stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Leonardo Roano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Timoteo Jacob showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Prudencio Santos, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. Lorenzo Baumer charged in rather forcefully in the 60th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lorenzo Baumer the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 60th match minute, Loventué AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lorenzo Baumer to maneuver through the defense. 61 minutes into the match, Loventué AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Leonardo Roano came free, but Aldo Ritchie reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Prudencio Santos might have been able to make a better finish in the 64th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Timoteo Jacob. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Prudencio Santos ran back to his position shaking his head. After 67 minutes of play Loventué AFC's Leonardo Jusepe was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Leonardo Jusepe kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Loventué AFC's zone, Leonardo Roano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aldo Ritchie came out of the goal and Leonardo Roano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Aldo Ritchie took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leonardo Roano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Loventué AFC's Prudencio Santos got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 81st minute, Triperos Futbol Club's Leonardo Roano dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-1. After having played for 85 minutes, Prudencio Santos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Loventué AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Prudencio Santos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Horacio Jokin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Prudencio Santos came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the Loventué AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Prudencio Santos couldn't finish the play. If Prudencio Santos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Chants of Triperos Futbol Club echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as Loventué AFC had held the ball for most of the match.
