The referee ignored Guayquiraro FC's protests and gave Elias Jordy a yellow card for diving instead. Elias Jordy hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. Nacimiento's Cosme Bernad played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nunez Meder in the 17th minute of play. Nunez Meder fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cosme Bernad having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Guayquiraro FC's Elias Jordy got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Fausto Salbatore sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 28 minutes into the game, Nacimiento's Filomeno Gabrio nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Baldomiro Donostia made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Elvio Montay received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Cosme Bernad tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 44th minute the ball was on its way in behind Nacimiento's goalkeeper Cosme Bernad, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Elvio Montay got free with Cosme Bernad in the 46th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 48th minute Nunez Meder shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cosme Bernad saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When Nunez Meder came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Guayquiraro FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nunez Meder couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Guayquiraro FC booed when Nacimiento was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Higinio Galoer didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 67th minute, Nunez Meder hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Amado Larra received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nunez Meder in the 76th minute of play forced Nacimiento's goalkeeper Cosme Bernad to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Nacimiento getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Fabian Eyague hit a great ball. If Elvio Montay had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 83rd minute, Elias Jordy hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Baldomiro Donostia was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 84th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Dario Remigio. Guayquiraro FC's Amado Larra got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 93rd match minute, Nacimiento was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fabian Eyague to maneuver through the defense. In the 95th minute, Elvio Montay got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
