The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Blas Truylos during the 34th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 33rd minute, one of Reggae:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Reggae. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elvio Nuno in the 41st minute of play forced Dinamo Nob's goalkeeper Cecilio Cutberto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Esteban Ubendu was the one to do the kick off.
