When the match had gone on for 4 minutes, Mario Veremundo took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Baltasar Romano to make any attempt to save it. 7 minutes into the game, Marcos Orkatz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Pepe Arena CF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pii Jr the free kick. The supporters of Pii Jr booed when Pepe Arena CF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcos Orkatz didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Pepe Arena CF's zone, Uriel Abalos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eduardo Gonza came out of the goal and Uriel Abalos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Eduardo Gonza showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Uriel Abalos, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. In the 12th minute of the match Pii Jr got a corner. Pepe Arena CF's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Dionisio Bernad ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Dionisio Bernad almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Pepe Arena CF's Eduardo Gonza did a great save. Uriel Abalos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Eduardo Gonza tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Marcos Orkatz hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. Eduardo Gonza took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Isidoro Fagildo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Constantino Sanchez kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. If Mario Veremundo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a defensive mix-up in Pepe Arena CF's zone, Uriel Abalos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eduardo Gonza came out of the goal and Uriel Abalos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Pepe Arena CF's Eduardo Gonza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Isidoro Fagildo in the 30th minute of play. Uriel Abalos might have been able to make a better finish in the 32nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Eduardo Gonza. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Uriel Abalos ran back to his position shaking his head. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Isidoro Fagildo in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Eduardo Gonza saved Pepe Arena CF from getting behind. After some careless play in the Pii Jr defense, Vicente Ioritz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Baltasar Romano. The Pii Jr fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Baltasar Romano should have stopped the shot. Primitivo Fernandes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Baltasar Romano having to interfere. In the 48th minute, Uriel Abalos made a precise shot to the right of Eduardo Gonza. Pepe Arena CF's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-1.

The wind increased when Mario Veremundo made the kick off in the second half. 60 minutes into the match, Pii Jr's goal looked a bit too open when Mario Veremundo came free, but Baltasar Romano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Pii Jr's Celso Gotzon got a free kick in the 61st minute. In the 62nd minute Mario Veremundo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Baltasar Romano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mario Veremundo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Baltasar Romano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vicente Ioritz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Baltasar Romano read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 71st minute of play. After 83 minutes of play, Pepe Arena CF's Mario Veremundo made it 5-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Baltasar Romano was left in no man's land by his defense there! 90 minutes into the match, Pii Jr's Isidoro Fagildo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Eduardo Gonza narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Pii Jr's Eleuterio Caetano got a free kick in the 97th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mario Veremundo in the 99th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Baltasar Romano saved Pii Jr from getting behind. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Pepe Arena CF fans cheered their team off the field, for while Pii Jr had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
