Laureles Argentinos's goal looked a bit too open when Elvio Montay came free, but Jose Urtsin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lorenzo Theodore fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Baldomiro Donostia having to interfere. Despite being the better team, C.A. Laureles Argentinos failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
