Leonel Chano kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. A sloppy throw-in by Placido Etxatxu in the 10th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by C.A. Laureles Argentinos's Godofredo Savier. When Sergio Vigil came up free with the goalie in the 12th minute, the Sacachispas FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sergio Vigil couldn't finish the play. Ismael Bartuelo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jose Urtsin having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Sergio Vigil's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jose Urtsin was relentless in the 16th minute of the game. In the 19th minute, Angel Jaizki made a precise shot to the right of Jorge Sidro. Sacachispas FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Laureles Argentinos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Reynaldo Maurino to maneuver through the defense. Manuel Urtats got a throw-in 42 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Filiberto Gentza. Jorge Sidro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lorenzo Theodore in the 44th minute of play. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Sergio Vigil stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Sergio Vigil hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. C.A. Laureles Argentinos's Jose Urtsin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sergio Vigil in the 54th minute of play. Sacachispas FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave C.A. Laureles Argentinos the free kick. A collision led to Sacachispas FC getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Leonel Chano hit a great ball. The crowd rose to their feet as C.A. Laureles Argentinos's Jorge Meder slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Jorge Sidro. That made the score 0-2 after 63 minutes of play. Jorge Sidro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Reynaldo Maurino in the 68th minute of play. After 69 played minutes Sacachispas FC got a freekick which was hit by Honorio Asur. The referee felt a red card was in order, 73 minutes into the game, when Honorio Asur put in a rough tackle. After 74 played minutes Sacachispas FC got a freekick which was hit by Honorio Asur. After a rather tough play, C.A. Laureles Argentinos's Godofredo Savier got a free kick in the 78th minute. After 93 played minutes C.A. Laureles Argentinos got a freekick which was hit by Godofredo Savier. Jose Urtsin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sergio Vigil, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. C.A. Laureles Argentinos's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
