In the 3rd minute Gaston Cordarrel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Urbano Filipo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 4 minutes, Jesus Valente mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Resto del Mundo and the Martínez players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Resto del Mundo's Jesus Valente got a free kick in the 4th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gaston Cordarrel in the 10th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Urbano Filipo saved Resto del Mundo from getting behind. When the match had gone on for 18 minutes, Severino Rodas took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Ivan Ostargi to make any attempt to save it. In the 21st minute Jesus Valente shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ivan Ostargi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 22nd play minutes Javier Tadzio shot 1-2, a short shot which went by Urbano Filipo and just under the crossbar into goal. Ivan Ostargi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jesus Valente, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Ivan Ostargi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Severino Rodas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gaston Cordarrel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Urbano Filipo having to interfere. Gaston Cordarrel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Urbano Filipo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Urbano Filipo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Javier Tadzio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 38th minute, Baltasar Abilio ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Urbano Filipo was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. 46 minutes into the game, Ernesto Ur was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Resto del Mundo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Martínez the free kick. Ernesto Ur hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. In the 48th minute the ball was on its way in behind Resto del Mundo's goalkeeper Urbano Filipo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
The wind increased when Javier Tadzio made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd match minute, Martínez was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tadeo Bernat to maneuver through the defense. 61 minutes into the match, Resto del Mundo's goalkeeper Urbano Filipo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gaston Cordarrel. 63 minutes into the match, Martínez's goal looked a bit too open when Jesus Valente came free, but Ivan Ostargi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Severino Rodas in the 68th minute of play forced Martínez's goalkeeper Ivan Ostargi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Baltasar Abilio came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the Martínez fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Baltasar Abilio couldn't finish the play. Ivan Ostargi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Severino Rodas in the 71st minute of play. Gaston Cordarrel's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 72ndth minute, Urbano Filipo skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 74 minutes into the match, Resto del Mundo's goal looked a bit too open when Baltasar Abilio came free, but Urbano Filipo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jimeno Savion charged in rather forcefully in the 75th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jimeno Savion the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Ulises Inguma didn't quite understand what happened when in the 77 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. After 79 minutes, Ulises Inguma mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Resto del Mundo and the Martínez players grew even worse after the yellow card. Ulises Inguma kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. If Tadeo Bernat had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ivan Ostargi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Claudio Patxi, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. 91 minutes into the match, Martínez's goal looked a bit too open when Severino Rodas came free, but Ivan Ostargi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tadeo Bernat recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 94 played minutes Resto del Mundo got a freekick which was hit by Ulises Inguma. Urbano Filipo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Baltasar Abilio went, in the 96th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-4 was the resulting score. The Resto del Mundo supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Martínez's performance. The match ended with a win for Martínez.
