Gaston Cordarrel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Apolo Mosen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Candido Valentine fell near the penalty area in the 41st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Martínez's protests and gave Candido Valentine a yellow card for diving instead. After a defensive mix-up in Blandengues AFC's zone, Baltasar Abilio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Apolo Mosen came out of the goal and Baltasar Abilio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Adrian Rufo received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ivan Ostargi came out and tried to block the shot, but Adrian Rufo slotted it home off the left post making it 3-1 in the 59th minute. With a little luck, Martínez's Ivan Ostargi got control of the ball when Luciano Rius tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Gaston Cordarrel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 68th minute, Javier Tadzio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Baltasar Abilio hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. Javier Tadzio might have been able to make a better finish in the 73rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Apolo Mosen. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Javier Tadzio ran back to his position shaking his head. When Tadeo Bernat came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the Martínez fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tadeo Bernat couldn't finish the play. Apolo Mosen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maximino Nikola in the 76th minute of the match. 80 minutes into the match, Martínez's goalkeeper Ivan Ostargi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Luciano Rius.
