Spectators: 7214 (Terracing: 5521, Seating: 1693, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Ubaldo Eli took the kick off in the first half of the match. Enrique Amaya showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Patricio Costante in the 5th minute of the match. In the 5th minute, Isidoro Toli hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Marcelo Abaurre might have been able to make a better finish in the 7th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Enrique Amaya. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Marcelo Abaurre ran back to his position shaking his head. Melchor Shepherd made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ubaldo Eli in the 8th minute of play. After 10 minutes of play, Scaloneta's Rene Nevada made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Enrique Amaya was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 13th match minute, Scaloneta was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Robustiano Goito to maneuver through the defense. Melchor Shepherd showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cesar Mosen, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rene Nevada got free with Enrique Amaya in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 21 minutes into the match, Scaloneta's Marcelo Abaurre sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Enrique Amaya narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Marcelo Abaurre sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Melchor Shepherd showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aaron Enmanuel in the 24th minute of the match. Robustiano Goito took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 27th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Enrique Amaya. Coitaco's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 29th minute of the match, Marcelo Abaurre tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Enrique Amaya saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Victor Todor received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Enrique Amaya tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 36th minute Victor Todor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Enrique Amaya saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Melchor Shepherd took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aaron Enmanuel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marcelo Abaurre sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rene Nevada's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Enrique Amaya read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 48th minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Marcelo Abaurre made a kick off. When Scaloneta's Marcelo Abaurre in the 52nd minute got a chance for a shot 52nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Coitaco's goalie prevented a goal. Scaloneta were furious when Robustiano Goito was red carded, 56 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. 56 minutes into the game, one of Scaloneta:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. After a defensive mix-up in Coitaco's zone, Marcelo Abaurre stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Enrique Amaya came out of the goal and Marcelo Abaurre tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Rene Nevada had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Melchor Shepherd took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ubaldo Eli, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Patricio Costante received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Enrique Amaya tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 78th minute, Rene Nevada got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Ubaldo Eli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Patricio Costante recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 86 played minutes Coitaco got a freekick which was hit by Cesar Mosen. If Patricio Costante had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marcelo Abaurre received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Enrique Amaya tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Enrique Amaya made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcelo Abaurre in the 92nd minute of play. Patricio Costante sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 98th minute, Patricio Costante managed to get in a good position for a shot. Scaloneta's supporters rose to their feet, but Patricio Costante was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Enrique Amaya breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
