In the 9th minute, Leonardo Cordera left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Santa Boca FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Geronimo Ovando was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Baltasar Abilio showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 20 minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leonardo Cordera in the 28th minute of play forced Martínez's goalkeeper Ivan Ostargi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Santa Boca FC's Romeo Blai got a free kick in the 30th minute. Geronimo Ovando showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Baltasar Abilio, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. A sloppy throw-in by Francisco Beltran in the 34th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Martínez's Esteve Harkaitz. In the 35th minute, Tobias Giraldo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Santa Boca FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Baltasar Abilio was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. Baltasar Abilio took the ball and in the 69 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Geronimo Ovando. Geronimo Ovando dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1. In the 73rd minute Gaston Cordarrel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Geronimo Ovando saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Geronimo Ovando showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gaston Cordarrel, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute.
