La Masía's Dionisio Ostargi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Severo Ubarna in the 26th minute of play. With his leg Dionisio Ostargi managed to avoid a goal in the 27thth minute, when Gimnasia y Tiro's Leandro Hever fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leandro Hever in the 31st minute of play forced La Masía's goalkeeper Dionisio Ostargi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match had gone on for 36 minutes, Severo Ubarna took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Dionisio Ostargi to make any attempt to save it. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The wind increased when Leandro Hever made the kick off in the second half. Gimnasia y Tiro's Sergio Bladi managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Victorino Lamberto in the 51 minute of the game. In the 52nd minute Severo Ubarna shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dionisio Ostargi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dionisio Ostargi came out of the goal in the 55th minute to try and stop a shot by Gimnasia y Tiro's Leandro Hever. But to his dismay, Leandro Hever quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. 58 minutes into the match, Severo Ubarna had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dionisio Ostargi. La Masía's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Severo Ubarna was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. In the 62nd minute, Severo Ubarna hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, La Masía's Silvestre Montrell got a free kick in the 63rd minute. After a defensive mix-up in La Masía's zone, Severo Ubarna stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dionisio Ostargi came out of the goal and Severo Ubarna tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Leandro Hever got in the 67th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Dionisio Ostargi handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. Dario Chuan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Esteban Fix having to interfere. Sergio Bladi kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. Severo Ubarna recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. La Masía's Dionisio Ostargi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Severo Ubarna in the 86th minute of play. Leandro Hever received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Dionisio Ostargi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Gimnasia y Tiro had played much better football throughout.
