Jorge Savier's late challenge caught a Unión AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jorge Savier helped the player get up and apologised. Extasis Fobal Clú's Delmar Ortle played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Freddy Benino in the 30th minute of play. When Eliseo Lleir came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the Unión AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eliseo Lleir couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Freddy Benino in the 32nd minute of play forced Extasis Fobal Clú's goalkeeper Delmar Ortle to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Delmar Ortle made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Freddy Benino in the 37th minute of play. Elias Camerino charged in rather forcefully in the 89th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Elias Camerino the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 89th match minute, Extasis Fobal Clú was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Elias Camerino to maneuver through the defense. In the 90th minute, Unión AFC's Freddy Benino ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Delmar Ortle. Delmar Ortle yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-8. With a little luck, Extasis Fobal Clú's Delmar Ortle got control of the ball when Ricardo Ferrando tried to sneak it across the goal line. Thanks to some nice moves Ricardo Ferrando could shoot a difficult shot in the 95th minute, which Delmar Ortle however easily saved by the left post. Jorge Savier hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. When the match was over Unión AFC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Extasis Fobal Clú throughout the match.
