The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Anacleto Ondino came out of the goal and Arnoldo Santiago tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Rolando Eufemio came up free with the goalie in the 12th minute, the SanBerCity United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rolando Eufemio couldn't finish the play. After 15 played minutes Pueblito AFC got a freekick which was hit by Rodolfo Bernabel. Martin Huly struck a weak shot in the 19th minute. Anacleto Ondino didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pueblito AFC. In the 24th minute, Edgard Librado made a precise shot to the right of Gavino Arias. Pueblito AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. 29 minutes into the match, Pueblito AFC's Arnoldo Santiago sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Anacleto Ondino narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 32nd minute, Edgard Librado got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. SanBerCity United's supporters rose to their feet, but Rolando Eufemio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gavino Arias breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. SanBerCity United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rolando Eufemio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Edgard Librado scored 0-2 in the 41st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gavino Arias, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After the first half SanBerCity United were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Arnoldo Santiago stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edgard Librado in the 57th minute of play forced Pueblito AFC's goalkeeper Gavino Arias to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gavino Arias showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rolando Eufemio in the 60th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Pueblito AFC's Ubaldo Tomi got a free kick in the 61st minute. When Arnoldo Santiago fell near the penalty area in the 62nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pueblito AFC's protests and gave Arnoldo Santiago a yellow card for diving instead. When the final whistle sounded SanBerCity United left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Pueblito AFC.
