Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Apolo Rey got the match started through his kick off. Rigoberto Castulo was a little too slow when Llorenc Lazcano got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 6th minute. The score was now 1-0. The audience was convinced that Apolo Rey's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rigoberto Castulo was relentless in the 12th minute of the game. Hector Dei's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rigoberto Castulo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 16th minute of play. Llorenc Lazcano charged in rather forcefully in the 23rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Llorenc Lazcano the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Hector Dei recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Constantino Pedroso during the 28th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 28th minute, Constantino Pedroso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Apolo Rey sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 34th minute, Apolo Rey got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. C.A. Estrella Zocks's Rigoberto Castulo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Llorenc Lazcano in the 35th minute of play. Apolo Rey struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Rigoberto Castulo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mataro AFC. If Hector Dei had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Apolo Rey received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Rigoberto Castulo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Arnaldo Argider made the kick off in the second half. Amancio Etxahun hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. If Apolo Rey had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marcelino Fertus's late challenge caught a Mataro AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Marcelino Fertus helped the player get up and apologised. In the 63rd minute, Marcelino Fertus hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 67th minute Arnaldo Argider shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edgard Rodas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the C.A. Estrella Zocks defense, Apolo Rey kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rigoberto Castulo. The C.A. Estrella Zocks fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rigoberto Castulo should have stopped the shot. Rigoberto Castulo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Apolo Rey in the 74th minute of the match. In the 74th minute, Apolo Rey made a precise shot to the right of Rigoberto Castulo. C.A. Estrella Zocks's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. When the match had gone on for 78 minutes, Apolo Rey put it in 5-0 from a short distance just to the right of Rigoberto Castulo. Hector Dei sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rigoberto Castulo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Apolo Rey, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 90th play minutes Apolo Rey shot 6-0, a short shot which went by Rigoberto Castulo and just under the crossbar into goal. With a little luck, Mataro AFC's Edgard Rodas got control of the ball when Timoteo Amato tried to sneak it across the goal line. Apolo Rey might have been able to make a better finish in the 97th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rigoberto Castulo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Apolo Rey ran back to his position shaking his head.
