If Baldomiro Peru had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Baldomiro Peru to make the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in SC Quarz United's zone, Juan Ikatz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Anibal Xabat came out of the goal and Juan Ikatz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Luisito Perico showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tiburcio Baumer, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Marcelino Silvanito charged in rather forcefully in the 68th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Marcelino Silvanito the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Marcelino Silvanito kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. After 71 minutes of play SC Quarz United's Benicio Quin was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 72nd minute, Benicio Quin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 74 minutes SC Quarz United's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Celestino Sandalio who took care of the corner kick. Tiburcio Baumer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
