Luisito Baristo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 4th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tiburcio Baumer might have been able to make a better finish in the 9th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Luisito Perico. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tiburcio Baumer ran back to his position shaking his head. After a defensive mix-up in SC Quarz United's zone, Adolfo Fertus stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Anibal Xabat came out of the goal and Adolfo Fertus tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Baldomiro Peru had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Baldomiro Peru sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 25 played minutes Aguaray got a freekick which was hit by Adolfo Fertus. When Alfredo Larpe fell near the penalty area in the 27th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Aguaray's protests and gave Alfredo Larpe a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of SC Quarz United booed when Aguaray was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alfredo Larpe didn't get a good kick on the ball. Through an outstanding action, after 31 minutes, Anibal Xabat successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Marcelino Silvanito recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Baldomiro Peru kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Anibal Xabat. That made the score 1-0 in the 39 minute of play. SC Quarz United's Anibal Xabat proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 42nd minute of the match, managed to save SC Quarz United from getting a goal against them. Baldomiro Peru received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Anibal Xabat came out and tried to block the shot, but Baldomiro Peru slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 44th minute.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Baldomiro Peru made a kick off. Baldomiro Peru sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Adolfo Fertus's late challenge caught a SC Quarz United's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Adolfo Fertus helped the player get up and apologised. If Adolfo Fertus had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tiburcio Baumer recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Anibal Xabat stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Baldomiro Peru's shot from short distance in the 73rd minute. After some careless play in the SC Quarz United defense, Adolfo Fertus kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Anibal Xabat. The SC Quarz United fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Anibal Xabat should have stopped the shot. In the 86th minute, Adolfo Fertus got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some careless play in the SC Quarz United defense, Adolfo Fertus kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Anibal Xabat. The SC Quarz United fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Anibal Xabat should have stopped the shot. If Baldomiro Peru had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Aguaray had played much better football throughout.
