Sangre y Barro's Cecilio Ibañez nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Eloy Kinsen made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. After a rather tough play, C. A. Sangre y Barro's Isaac Rami got a free kick in the 10th minute. Fabian Sal made an important save on a dangerous shot by Anselmo Gitano in the 11th minute. Remigio Dino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fabian Sal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Florencio Leguizamón, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. After 23 played minutes C. A. Sangre y Barro got a freekick which was hit by Paulo Urtsua. Roman Silvanito took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 32nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Fabian Sal. C. A. Sangre y Barro's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Eloy Kinsen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ricardo Baladi in the 35th minute of play. Ricardo Baladi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Eloy Kinsen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ricardo Baladi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ricardo Baladi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eloy Kinsen having to interfere. Remigio Dino struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Fabian Sal didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Matilde FC. Florencio Leguizamón's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fabian Sal read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 45th minute of play. Cecilio Ibañez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eloy Kinsen having to interfere. C. A. Sangre y Barro's Ricardo Baladi got a good chance for a goal in the 49th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cecilio Ibañez was the one to do the kick off. In the 56thth minute of the game Cecilio Ibañez who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Matilde FC's Eloy Kinsen was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Florencio Leguizamón in the 59th minute of play forced C. A. Sangre y Barro's goalkeeper Fabian Sal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Florencio Leguizamón received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Fabian Sal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 64th minute Remigio Dino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabian Sal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 66th minute, Ricardo Baladi managed to get in a good position for a shot. C. A. Sangre y Barro's supporters rose to their feet, but Ricardo Baladi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eloy Kinsen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Cecilio Ibañez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Eloy Kinsen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eloy Kinsen didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ricardo Baladi went, in the 70th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. The supporters of Matilde FC booed when C. A. Sangre y Barro was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eugenio Loren didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ricardo Baladis short, quick shot in the 79thth minute got Eloy Kinsen to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 85 minutes in the game, Cecilio Ibañez fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Eloy Kinsen having to interfere. Eloy Kinsen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cecilio Ibañez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. C. A. Sangre y Barro's Cecilio Ibañez got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Eloy Kinsen came out of the goal in the 94th minute to try and stop a shot by C. A. Sangre y Barro's Ricardo Baladi. But to his dismay, Ricardo Baladi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. C. A. Sangre y Barro's Fabian Sal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Florencio Leguizamón in the 97th minute of play. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched C. A. Sangre y Barro eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
