The supporters of Aguaray booed when Matilde FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leo Haritz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Adolfo Fertus sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Remigio Dino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Luisito Perico tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Remigio Dino made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 16thth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Luisito Perico would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. Baldomiro Peru received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Eloy Kinsen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Baldomiro Peru fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eloy Kinsen having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Matilde FC's zone, Baldomiro Peru stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eloy Kinsen came out of the goal and Baldomiro Peru tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 36th minute Prospero Serafo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luisito Perico saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 38th minute Adolfo Fertus shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eloy Kinsen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Florencio Leguizamón stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Baldomiro Peru fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eloy Kinsen having to interfere. Baldomiro Peru recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Baldomiro Peru in the 74th minute of play forced Matilde FC's goalkeeper Eloy Kinsen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eloy Kinsen didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Baldomiro Peru went, in the 76th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. Luisito Perico showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leo Haritz in the 86th minute of the match. When Florencio Leguizamón came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the Matilde FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Florencio Leguizamón couldn't finish the play. When the final whistle sounded Aguaray left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Matilde FC.
