Santiago Beat sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Santiago Beat's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Fernando Cruz firmly grabbed it by the left post. 26 minutes into the match, Garrayalde FC's goal looked a bit too open when Nereo Evangelista came free, but Fernando Cruz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jairo Martino kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Leonides Seme was the one to do the kick off. Leonides Seme fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Angelino Elequemedo having to interfere. Zeledon Remicio's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Angelino Elequemedo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 58th minute of play. Angelino Elequemedo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leonides Seme in the 67th minute of play. Jonathan Patrido kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. Leonides Seme did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-1 to the left of a surprised Angelino Elequemedo 79 minutes into the match. Zeledon Remicio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Angelino Elequemedo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Zeledon Remicio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Santiago Beat fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fernando Cruz having to interfere. In the 90th minute, Zeledon Remicio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 92 minutes, Leonides Seme managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Garrayalde FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Leonides Seme was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Garrayalde FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
